Meeting PointFishing village pier, Ko Samui

Before the island stirs, the fishermen are already on the water. You go with them — aboard a weathered wooden boat, working the lines as generations have — and return to a private stretch of beach where a chef turns the morning's catch into breakfast.

The Composition, Hour by Hour
05:30

Out with the fleet

You put to sea in the dark with a Samui fishing family, the lights of the village shrinking behind you.

06:15

Working the lines

As the sun lifts, you haul and sort alongside them — an hour of the island's oldest work, at its best hour.

08:00

Fire on the sand

Back on a private beach, a chef cooks the catch over open flame while coffee brews.

09:00

The quiet after

Breakfast eaten slowly as the beach stays yours, the fishermen long gone back to the village.

Good to Know
Is it very physical?
Only as much as you wish — you can work the lines or simply watch the sea wake up.
What if I get seasick?
We stay in sheltered water close to shore, and can adjust or shorten the time afloat.
Is the catch guaranteed?
The sea decides — but the chef always brings the makings of a feast, so breakfast never depends on it.
